How to write Chemical equations

 Identify the Reactants and Products:

 Determine which substances:

are reacting (reactants) and what substances are formed (products).

Write the Chemical Formulas:

Write down the chemical formulas of the reactants on the left side and the products on the right side.

Use an Arrow

Place an arrow ((\rightarrow)) between the reactants and the products to indicate the direction of the reaction.

Balance the Equation:

Adjust the coefficients (numbers in front of the chemical formulas) to ensure the same number of each type of atom on both sides of the equation.

Indicate Physical States (Optional):

Optionally, indicate the physical state of each substance using ((s)) for solids, ((l)) for liquids, ((g)) for gases, and ((aq)) for aqueous solutions.
